Andy Huckridge

Andy Huckridge is a seasoned Telecom industry executive, serving as an independent consultant to operators & carriers as well as to network & test equipment manufacturers. He has experience overseeing various international projects in the Telecom and Security space with leading companies and associations.

Prior to VSS Monitoring where he gained experience with the tools & service assurance aspects of 4G/LTE deployments, he was Vice President at Codenomicon, responsible for Product Line Strategy and worldwide marketing functions of an innovative Network Security start-up. Prior to that he was Director of Marketing at Spirent Communications, a global test leader specializing in next generation Telecoms networks. Huckridge managed Spirent’s outbound strategy for the Multimedia Application Solutions Division. In a previous role at Spirent he was responsible for managing the Next Generation Network product development, including IMS, FMC, Wireless and Wireline products, with a $70m run-rate.

Huckridge has had direct exposure to various telecom technologies from SS7 through VoLTE, including the gamut of 3G & 4G mobile technologies. Is a frequent speaker on new Telecom technologies and related industry issues, influences decisions made at industry forums and standards bodies. Previously, he was the Director of Product Management at Centile / 8×8, Inc. and participated in the go to market launch for Packet8 (now 8×8) & Virtual Office VoIP service provider products.

Mr. Huckridge’s responsibilities have included product management, strategic planning & market development as well as the project management of large scale / global technology trials. He has over 16 years of Silicon Valley Telecommunications industry experience with cutting edge technologies, holds M.Sc. and B. Eng. (Hons) degrees in Telecoms & Spacecraft Engineering, holds a patent in VoIP and has co-authored an IETF RFC. He was also an inaugural member of the “Top 100 Voices of IP Communications” list.
